Spotted at Design District 2022

The nineteenth edition of Design District took place from June 8 to 10 at the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam. Architectenweb presents a small selection of products that were on display at the fair.

Deposit chair
Circuform was another company at Design District with a strong focus on sustainability. They showcased the REX and Kwart chairs, designed by Ineke Hans and Ton Haas, respectively. Circuform’s core philosophy is to minimize the use of new raw materials and maximize reuse in the production of office furniture.

They achieve this by using industrial and post-consumer waste; furthermore, the REX is a chair that comes with a deposit. At their booth, the company introduced their latest product: a table featuring a tabletop made from pressed paper waste and a recycled metal base.
